Dirk Dornblüth
A certified watchmaker trained at the famous German school in Glashütte. who has always had the ambition of creating his own watch brand. He shared this dream with his father Dieter, who a few decades earlier created sketches of his own mechanism. In 1999, exactly 40 years later, the concept gained a new life and the village of Kalbe gained a new watchmaking workshop D. Dornblüth & Sohn. In his work, he adheres to the art of traditional watchmaking in creating mechanical timepieces. Traditional in the meaning of real, watchmaker’s handicraft without using modern technologies and electronically controlled CNC machines ubiquitous in the industry.
Kalle Slaap
A Watchmaker and a well-known Dutch micro-brands populariser. Founder of the watchmaking school who conducts author trainings including those for owners and manufacturers of microbrands.
Michał Wajsen
For years, he has been involved in product photography, especially of his beloved watches. He can engage listeners for hours on the topics of watchmaking, military, photography and the communist era. He is one of the administrators of the biggest Polish Facebook watch group “Czasoholicy”. A pedagogue by education who worked for many years for various educational care facilities. Currently, he is the deputy director of the School of Crafts in Lodz.
Tomasz Fularski
17 years of experience in the IT sector, graduate of the Film and Photography Department at the College of Art and Design in Lodz. He lectured at the Department of Photography at the College of Art and Design and at the International Forum of Photography “Kwadrat” in WrocÅ‚aw. Member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers.
Aleksandra Fularska
25 years of experience in selling and managing sales of abstract goods – from advertising to insurance. Together with her husband, they formed Estimo – a family company founded in 2013. Estimo consists of people with passion who, under the slogan “What matters is not only what, but how”, design and manufacture Premium packaging for works of art and luxury products. Cultivating values such as beauty, reliability, durability and timelessness, they work for a very narrow group of the most demanding Polish and foreign clients.
Ewa Rybak
Co-founder, owner and deputy-editor in chief at Ferment Wine Magazine. One of a few very first wine bloggers in Poland over a decade ago, later working for Magazyn Wino (Wine Magazine) as a leading editor for its online edition and web business developer. Translated wine books: Perfect Pairing (Evan Goldstein) and Discovering Wine (Joana Simon), as well as an author of a chapter about Polish Wines for Jancis Robinson “Wine Course” polish translation. Jury member of many wine competition, for some years also working in wine import and distribution.
Tomasz Miler
Entrepreneur and influencer. The creator of Miler Menswear, Miler Spirits and Manumi brands offering respectively classic suits, strong alcohols and men’s leather accessories. Liked for his public appearances, he talks eagerly and a lot but he always tries to exhaust the topic, not the audience. His comments on men’s elegance, aged alcohols, watches and lifestyle of a modern man have been viewed on YouTube over two million times. In private, a fan of travelling, sailing and martial arts.
